Jean Dubuffet e Venezia is a tribute to the city of Venice that Jean Dubuffet has chosen twice to present in exclusivity his most recent works : L’Hourloupe in 1964 at the Palazzo Grassi and the Mires series at the French pavilion of the 1984 Biennale.
Two major periods of the artist’s work, twenty years apart.
The purpose of this exhibition is to recall the importance of those two exhibition that took place in this exceptional city.

The gallery is collaborating with the loan of three iconic paintings by Jean Dubuffet Site domestique (au fusil espadon), 1966, Mire G177 Boléro, 1983 and Mire G59, 1983.
