As part of the commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, Vieira da Silva was chosen by the Portuguese government as the official artistic figure embodying the values of universalism and freedom. The gallery is delighted to contribute to this exhibition, featuring some thirty of the artist’s major paintings.
