After its presentation at the galley in the exhibition “Matter and Memory. The Patriarch’s Realm.” in 2013, the project Marelle for Europe by Jean-Paul Philippe is presented in the Brussels’ exhibition, entitled “14-18, It’s our history”. This exhibition is organised jointly by the Museum of Europe and the Royal Museum of Army and Military History. Presented in a dedicated room at the heart of the exhibition, the model of the Marelle imagined by the artist is a tribute to this universal game and its dance.
