The exhibition of Gérard Rondeau in 2000, one of the rare photo exhibitions at the gallery, presented 40 portraits of Paul Rebeyrolle around the work “Rebeyrolle ou le journal d’un peintre”. They testify to a moving empathy and the capacity of an artist to put himself at the service of another artist when the two are connected by an intimate link.
