The gallery presented three exhibitions of Louis Le Brocquy’s works between 1979 and 2006. Samuel Beckett and Francis Bacon attended all three, enthused by the images and faces, emanations through the canvas or the paper, of chosen presences, of lights that reveal the essential being in its verisimilitude.
