Jean Arp, also Alsatian, was a close friend of Jeanne Bucher. The painter, sculptor and poet was exhibited three times at the gallery between 1927 and 1939. A long-lasting friendship with Max Ernst gave him the possibility to write a preface for Histoire Naturelle, published by the Editions Jeanne Bucher in 1926.
