As part of the exhibition “Os Pirómanos”, Rui Moreira proposes to deepen the issues related to drawing by exploring concepts such as concentration and time in a long term exercise.

His work is developed almost exclusively around drawing and is a ground for political and poetic reflection on the human condition. Cinema, poetry, quotations from other artists, some anonymous, from other times, are constant references in a work that sublimates the geometrical figure, the proliferation of symbolic forms and the human figure, which Is after all the center of all artist’s thought.
