Dado

Centre of Contemporary Art - Auberive Abbey

This summer, the Auberive Abbey presents an exhibition of the artist Miodrag Djuric, called Dado. In this unusual space, combining past and present, the Volot family, owners of the place, decided to organize this retrospective focusing on the evolution of Dado’s artistic production. To gather these iconic works, they drew into their personal collection, and they also appealed to the Jeanne Bucher Jaeger Gallery and the Maison Rouge in Paris.

Through his paintings, drawing, collages and engravings, Dado expresses with strength and modesty, the torments and the tribulations of the human soul.  He also represented with virtuosity the monstrosity people imposed to one another during the Second World War.
