After his arrival in Paris, the young Swiss was given his initial Parisian exhibition by the gallery in 1930, then a second one the following year. Influenced by de Chirico, Brignoni was considered, at that period, as a sympathizer with a certain form of Surrealism, anchored in a lyric Cubism and Constructivism.
