The only monographic exhibition of François Stahly at the gallery presented a selection of twenty works (in various types of wood or bronze reliefs) in 1961. A founding member of the Témoignage group that so captivated Jean-François Jaeger from when he arrived at the gallery, Stahly drew his inspiration from the vegetal and mineral world, in a voluntary isolation in silence and meditation.
