In 1986, right in the middle of the debate over Public Art, the models of the Tour des Minguettes in Vénissieux were shown at the gallery in the exhibition “Questions of Urbanity”, alongside Dani Karavan and Gérard Singer. Raynaud’s white tower (unbuilt project) was designed to be the first sculpture to be inhabited, all the while offering itself, according Jean-Luc Daval, “like a gigantic stele whose purity would exorcise the dramatic past of the city.
