The first collaboration of the gallery with Joan Miró was the publication of Il était une petite pie in 1928 with an edition of 8 color stencils. In 1943, under the Occupation, Jeanne Bucher took the risk of exhibiting the paintings, watercolors and drawings of Miró, who was then considered a degenerate artist.
